  It was central in Madrid- within walking distance of many of the main tourist sites .But the best thing about the hotel was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful at all times. One of the reception staff even phoned her mother who was taking part in a procession for holy week to see where it was so we could go and watch. By means of public transport everything can be reached easily. Big room with huge beds and a large balcony. The hotel staff is very friendly, helpful to all your requests (even after paying the hotel bill). The buffet breakfast is very good, you can have whatever you want. The waiters are exceptionally nice.

  The appartment was located just a 5 minute walk from 2 train stations. It was in a quiet and lovely neighborhood. we were able to get peaceful night sleep without having to worry about any noise. We needed an extra bed and Flori, the lady who helped us check in, was very helpful and our bed was there within a few hours. Overall, we enj - My family (wife, twin daughters aged 20 and son aged 23) really enjoyed the spaciousness of our two room suite. It had a good sized kitchen, a very nice living room with ample space, two bathrooms and two bedrooms. We arrived early and the man who gave us the keys let us check our luggage in a secure area until the suite was ready. It was very clean and quiet! A great value for the money, especially in a major capital city in Western Europe!

  I really enjoyed my stay here at Residencia Lourdes. The women who runs this hostel is very nice and is more than willing to give you advice on where to go and places to have fun. I lost the boarding pass they had printed for me and they did everything to reprint it after the details of my flight had also disappeared, my fault, I was very distressed, they were wonderful and sorted it for me. Our room was spacious, the bathroom was also a good size and the bed was large and very comfortable. Best of all the room was quiet so it was possible to get a good nights sleep even in the middle of a noisy city. The hotel is easy to find just a short walk from Plaza Cibeles where the airport bus stops. All the main attractions and shops are within easy walking distance.
