A modest but impeccable little place. The staff is very kind and helpful. The location couldnt be better, near a crucial tube station to go to central Madrid and equally connected to reach to the airport.

This place is truly Home away from Home. The lady who runs the place is so nice, very friendly and keeps the place immaculate. The location of Hostal Gala is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Gran Via and Puerto Del Sol. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and advise on where to go and what to do. The hostal is also kept very clean and the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Although the rooms do not have safe deposit boxes, security and leaving passports/money behind was never a cause for concern. This is a place I would recommend and stay at again!

The location is superb (if a little hard to find down a side street). Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to do everything to make our stay perfect. Was concerned a "hostal" might not be up to scratch but it was like any other 3 star accommodation. Room was large with fairly new ensuite and very comfy beds. There was nothing we didn't like and would definitely stay again.
