We ate dinner there which was fantastic and enjoyed the beautiful views of the river which runs directly in front. Visitors should note that the Klosterschenke is a significant distance from Trier, however, so a car is definitely required. -

Cleanliness and friendlyness of staff - On the first day, the staff welcomed us with a little basket with fresh fruits, while it was not included in our reservation at all. That was a very nice surprise.
