This is a youth hostel but it is 5 star. The place was immaculate. I
have stayed in Hiltons all over the world. This accommodation is up
there with any of them. Reasonably priced. We stayed here for Schalke v
Chelsea game on the 22nd October 2013 for 3 nights. 10 min walk to
Bochum main railway station then 17 mins on train to the veltins arena.

The hostel was clean and modern and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Everything you need is nearby like supermarkets, chemists, restaurants and cafes and there is even a kiosk across the road. Having the Piusstraße U-Bahn station right out the door was also a bonus! bathrooms were nicer than some youth hostels ive been in, they also had
a great late breakfast and check out time and the staff were all really
cool and helpful. To top it all off, the price was really competitive. I
cant recommend this place more.

The hotel staff was really informative and friendly even after we have checked out. The room (single room with shared bathroom) was clean and a good place to have some rest after a rough night. The shared facilities were also clean and new. They also offer a late-checkout option for 5 euros.
