  We are senior couple and prefere to stay close to the downtown, so that to be able to return home in the afternoon and relax for a while to be ready for further explorations. This hotel was just perfect from this view point. It is small. homy and quiet. It's such a pleasure to wake up not because of the street noises, but birds' singing!   Very nice staff. Rooms surprisingly roomy, big even when compared to US hotels. Breakfast was outstanding with multiple abundant choices. Excellent location with very close trnasportation options. The "apartment" was excellent for our family easily acoomodating the 4 of us. Considering the additional fold out sofa, a total of 6 people could stay co... what people say » mfortably! - We really liked the Tannenbaum. It's in a great location, close to the subway and Marienplatz. We arrived very early from our flight and the hotel staff was very accommodating and let us check-in a few hours early.
