Nice and clean appartement with small kitchen which is perfect for several days (we only used the refrigerator and coffeemaker, so didn't really cook). Next to supermarket for basic needs. Nice german food as well as tapasbar within 5 minutes :) The Wallraf Museum was really amazin... what people say » g. - Large space, comfortable bed, great little kitchen with fridge. Great location. Owners very friendly, sent me an email beforehand and were waiting when we arrived. Because it's not a hotel, we had more privacy.

  very pleasent in general and great food would recommend this hotel to anyone. thank you Esplanade - Very friendly staff and a really good breakfast the next day. Slightly unexpected that it was primarily a young male couples hotel , however this was not an issue whatsoever.   We were in Europe for 3 weeks, and stayed in 7 different hotels. We decided upon our return that Mercure Hotel wins our award for THE BEST hotel we stayed in, even with all the construction.   Excellent!!! - The room was very large, which was great, the sauna/steam room facilities were excellent, and the fact that it stayed open so late was brilliant. Breakfast was also very good, staff very helpful and pleasant.
