  Our room was on the 5th floor with a tiny balcony overlooking the Rhine, which was perfect for us to sit and watch the boats go by. The room was well equipped, very clean, with even a hospitality tray - rare outside the uk. There was also free WiFi which was a nice bonus. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was plentiful and in a pleasant room.... what people say » One would not guess that the staff were still pumping water out of the cellar after the floods. We were lucky finding a parking place right outside t - We liked everything about the Hotel, owner and his team. Even though the Rhine had flooded the front of the Hotel and gardens it did not stop the Owner and the staff from running it well even though they were keeping back the Rhine . I should also mention that the owner speaks perfect english and had an interesting conversation with him covering various subjects in depth.   Everything was simple. Location was excellent, owner spoke English and was very friendly, bigger breakfast than other pensions I have stayed at. We even had an adjoining room to our kids'. - It was in a lovely position, very near the Rhine, and was in a quiet position, near enough to the town. Nice owners.

The mansion was very beautiful on the outside, on the outside it is quite old, but the bed are really comfortable, and nicelly arranged (it's like your grandmother's pension). Some rooms have a bathroom, some other don't and you have to use the common bathroom and toilets, but it is all very clean. The host can give you a lot of advices about things to do in Boppard and around. What you must not miss are the wonderful breakfasts : everything you need
