2 bedroom apartment was very spacious, well equipped with all facilities, clean & comfortable... great for a family. Quiet location, walking distance to city & great selection of restaurants. Secure parking and friendly staff all contributed to a great weekend's accommodation. We would definitely stay again next time we visit Townsville. The fact that as soon as we walked into the room we were greeted with a fresh clean smell and the whole room was clean. This seems to be a rare thing these days because cleaning products are not used in every place that we have been to, some just use water and one cloth for everything.
all reviews » The apartment was extremely spacious, with a well equipped kitchen. The view of the harbour from the balcony was fantastic and the staff were very professional and friendly. The bed was very comfortable. Off street parking was included. This was a great place to stay! Very nice and comfortable. Everything was in walking distance. Lots of good restaurants, shopping, the Aquarium, museum, the wharf for the ferry out to Magnetic Island to see the Great Barrier Reef. Location of this hotel was great, lots of restaurants in the area and reasonably close to the city, the room was very clean and tidy, we enjoyed our stay. Security of our vehicle after hours was great. The size of my apartment was excellent, spacious and well set out. The quality of the room service dinner from Table 51 was outstanding. Was a 30 minute walk with heavy bags. Nothing it was great. Small swimming pool. One very shady and cold. Fox TV guide provided but no Foxtel available. None. There was nothing abut it not to like,. No free wifi service. The area is somehow central as it is located at the end of a street with restaurants, but otherwise there is nothing really around. No coffee plunger. Aircon needed some attention as bedroom very warm over night.There was a smell of deoudouriser when we walked in. High cost of wifi. Nothing disliked. unit a little tired - needing an upgrade. Lifts very hot inside. Pillows too thick. No balcony. The only thing we didn't like, was the shortage of hot water. The water was cold after one shower, and the shower time was not long at all. Website says you pay on departure but was told had to pay on arrival. 2br apartment right next to busy road with early morning truck movements to nearby ferry. The person next door / above woke me at around 5am both mornings. I could hear their spoon hitting thir plate while they were having breakfast, their chair/s scraping across the floor, their tv & their phone conversations. Air conditioner in bedroom did not work and no fans in bedrooms. Very hot.
