Beds were super comfy especially for my husband who suffers with a bad back (from a serious car accident in yr 2000) he said it has to be the best hotel for comfort he has ever stayed at (and we travel alot for leisure) The staff were super helpful, I didnt have to pay for parking like it stated in the email (off site parking provided) I didnt feel like it was too much or too less it had what we needed the shops were in close so we were able to buy 1.5litre drinks and leave in the fridge for th.

The Family room was very spacious and nice. There was no time to check out the pool/spa but the pictures were very nice. The rooms were very nicely decorated and the view of the streets were very entertaining. Nice staff, nice people & friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended especially if you have a budget. I was very impressed with the front office staff and also the general manager. When I had a problem with the WIFI the general manager provided me with a 7 day 3gig plan for nothing. It was good value for money. - Two ladies on reception, Sharna and Jodi, were very helpful indeed. - The room was very comfortable and the breakfast very adequate. - Most of the Chifley seemed to have been recently renovated: excellent. Efficient and friendly staff, including those who work behind the scenes. Free Delicious continental breakfast (but watch who you book through) I go there every year. the room was very spacious breakfast great reception and dining room - staff friendly and helpful parking handy and convenient. Really liked the helpfulness of the staff and the location was good for what we were doing. found all staff very pleasant and room clean. close to shopping and close to cowboys club. Carpets were older than the rest of the renovated hotel. domestic staff a bit slack with daily chores eg toilet paper ran out - beds not made for three days until I made a comment to her - regular checks should be done regardless if anyone in rooms. Didn't like the toilet in the bathroom when there was a few of us staying in the room or the second double room off the other on our second stay. Otherwise our stay was great. was not impressed with continental breakfast, was expecting full breakfast. No off street parking, but to be expected in some cities. No off street parking. traffic noise. Air con was a wee bit noisy but not a real problem. Parking. Off street parking was full and couldn't,t access. bed was to soft and refurb to our room was not complete. No menu and city info in room. Lifts smelt like paint which nearly made you pass out. The rooms need a good face lift. Breakfast was to be full breakfast we were given continental. A bit expensive for the town and location. that it had a spa, sauna and pool advertised, but neither the spa or sauna was working the pool area was not very well looked after. No proper parking facilities. birds nesting in roof. Average location, rooms not very clean. The room was incredibly noisy from the road noise. Apart from the cars, trucks and people could hear the beeping from the crossing!! and we were on the 3rd floor. The hotel needs to invest in double glazing for windows. Also pool was in the dark and dingy basement and was dirty. Will not recommend this hotel to anybody because of the 2 points above .... especially the road noise. the 2 stairs in the rooms ,wife fell over going to the toilet during the night. breaky coffee no good. Tatty broken fridge, freezer door was broken, the fridge sat on old dirty cardboard, pool roof was hanging down was covers over it........... no car parking.. booked two rooms for 8 people and they only had two rooms for 6 people.. contential breakfast has not up to standed.. Breakfast needs to be looked at. Pool and spa weren't clean & very run down. Everything from rooms to pool looked alot better on pictures. Shower in room kept leaking. Poor parking , noises room, no response from the manager after I complained about my room, had to change rooms at 4 in the morning,. Dirty floors, too much noise from the streets, bin not large enough and need more than one in apartment.
