Friendly, courteous and obliging receptionist who arranged an early breakfast the following morning and taxi which was on time. Cafe staff also well trained in customer service engaging me in polite, welcoming conversation. Friendly staff who went out of their way to make my late check in work. Fantastic swimming pool/spa set up. Walking distance to lots of city facilities if you have time to enjoy them.

Loved the pool and friendly staff, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Very close to Athletics track and easy, safe parking. Fantastic value for money. I went there to watch the footy and its a 5 minute walk from most things in town. the staff were very friendly. Full size Showers. Clean well presented rooms. Great relaxation facilities. Liked the grounds and the apartment set out - and the separate entrance to the two rooms so we could easily link. Loved how the pool area was so shady but.. Sorted or shifted rooms to accommodate cerebal palsy child allowing two rooms to be on ground floor. The pool was nice, but looks way better in the photos. That I could not stay longer but will book again when I am in Townsville. Lack of time to realy take in everything on offer. i had no issues. Room was a little small... n/a. Hard to find. The pool water was so cold. The website and answering messages said they were booked out - but we seemed to be the only ones around. Rooms are very small and the shower could not be regulated for hot and cold. It was either too hot or too cold. On arrival and during our visit staff were friendly, as I was leaving the staff member was on the phone & I needed to report something to her and she kept talking and making the reservation. She could have asked the person on the phone to hold for just a moment. After waiting and waiting my taxi arrived so I had to leave. Even than she didn't say anything to me.
