Didn't know the Ridgemont existed until I found while searching on line, a little secluded but close to most things around the city. My wife and I had an upper level room for 2 nights, brilliant view, great to sit on balcony looking out over Strand and Maggie Island. Good value. Requested 6 meals, 2 x 3 types,(on a night meals not usually served) and was very pleased with service, quality and quantity. Great view from dining area. Didn't get around to utilising the pool, spa or BBQ are but the.

TV programmes seemed to be all sports. car parking, not enough powerpoints in the room (maybe a powerboard could help), shower cubile door didn't shut properly causing water to run onto the floor. The fact that this is quite a standard motel and not at all 'executive'. A bedside light and the clock radio did not work and had to be fixed. The room was not the cleanest that we experienced on our trip around Queensland.
