Excellent location to restaurants, city and hotels. Markets were close by on the weekend. Fantastic restaurant on ground floor of apartments. Really well cared for and very clean. Bed was fabulous so comfy! Everything you could want in the apartment! . Townsville is a great place to holiday, lots around the place. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, right in the middle of a busy restaurant/bar street. Short walk to The Strand. Rooms nicely presented with a great little balcony.

The location, close proximity to CBD and easy access to many restaurants. The view from our rooms. The pool. The quietness and simplicity of the rooms. The cleanliness of the rooms. Very well appointed, had everything we needed , perfect position for all restaurants and entertainment , walked everywhere , free car parking underneath. We really loved the view of the river and we were only short walk to CBD. We LOVE Townsville can not wait to come back. I thought the room was quite elegant and spacious. I am keen to come again and stay a couple of days. Friendly and helpful staff both front of house and house keeping. Central location with view. Luxurious large apartments fully self sufficient. The bedside lamp in our room was broken when we arrived, in that the plug had been crushed by the bedside cupboard and the wires exposed making it a dangerous and a potential fire risk. When we took it down to reception and were chastised for removing it from the room and it was not replaced during our stay. This was disappointing and could have been handled better. The central air conditioning was freezing. The spa was not working. No shade near the pool. Booking online through letsbookhotel.com it specified that the room would have a king bed, turned up to a room with two single beds. Had no trouble getting another room. Mabey there is a miscommunication between what that site offers and your reception. Queen size bed was two single beds together which caused a ridge down the middle of the bed. I have no criticism. No wifi. We had an abrupt and rude welcoming from one of the staff. Traffic noise. No mirrors in the wardrobe. We would have really liked to have a DVD player in our room - just to watch movies in the evenings. Also, we really loved the spa, but it wasn't very warm. $150 cleaning fee taken out of account on arrival. It was a special night for us so I requested a room with a view, alas our room was on the lowest level at back of property with NO view what soever and we were above a commercial kitchen and couldn't sit outside because of the fumes from the cooking exhaust. It was extremely offensive smelling. Very disappointed. Next time I will ph to check what room and if not suitable I will cancel. There were no brochures on possible room service. There was nothing I didn't like. Couldn't access the other floors directly. not being able to visit our friends on another level without them coming to get us. car parking poor, no room service. The cooking smell from the downstairs beef restaurant circulated throughout the hotel, including our room on the 9th floor. Not pleasant !. The young receptionist at check in time, didn't acknowledge guests and was not friendly and didn't smile or say 'enjoy your stay' once. Room service entered my room at approximately 1.00pm on Saturday 9/08/2013 without knocking - did not appreciate the intrusion to privacy at all. Room service attendant then did not apologise for the intrusion but queried my request to not have a change of towels????!!!!. The ridiculous rules to use the kitchen. Turn on all fans, air conditioners and open doors to use the cooking facilities with a threat of a $1000 fine if the smoke detector goes off!. Would have liked a bath. Would have liked to have been offered help with baggage as I checked in on my own with a 1 year old. Our room was situated facing Palmer St. over the Ribs and Rumps restaurant and was very noisy!. The room we were in was on 4th floor on top of restuarants exhaust we could not sit on our balcony from lunch time onwards because of steam and smell very disappointed we have family living in Townsville and visit often we probably will not stay in your hotel again unless we could be guaranteed a room on other side also bed was a bit hard for my liking thank you.

Kindly follow the detour towards McIlwraith St, turn left into Plume St, then left into Palmer St and Right into Dibbs Street. This temporary road closure is estimated till 26th July 2024.
