  When we was in the process of booking our travel plans I founded it pretty hard to make a decision based on all the different reviews,ok so I vowed to give my honest experience to help other ppl,thats traveling on a budget and looking for the best deal.....and this was by best,the best decision we made...before I give my experience, my total price... what people say » we paid for 2 airfare(spirit) and 3 nite hotel stay came to $615 which left alot of shopping and food money(lunch,dinner),limo from/to our home,....o - This is one of the best place's I have ever stayed at. The people were very friendly and nice, the breakfast was outstanding. The rooms were clean, with microwave, refrig, and coffee pot in every room. This will be the place I will be staying from now on, as I have to come to San Diego, at least every 5 weeks.

  It is very close to the airport (about 1mi) although driving from the airport is about 2.5 miles. It is a quiet Old town location, but located on the I-5, so if you're a light sleeper, make sure you get ear plugs or make sure you get a front side room. We were there only for 2 days and 2 nights. I think it took me like 15 minutes to walk - This hostel is absolutely amazing, and by far the best I've ever visited. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, with helpful staff. It's located in Little Italy, which is a brief 15 minute walk from downtown and the Gaslamp Quarter. It's clean and has a very home feeling to it. Every day the hostel offers activities, both daytime and evening. Breakfast and dinner is complimentary. I was very comfortable here, and sad to leave when my stay was over. Will definitely stay here next time I visit
