This is one of the best place's I have ever stayed at. The people were very friendly and nice, the breakfast was outstanding.

This was my 18th hotel in 30 days and was the best. The gaslight district is a short walk and there is heaps to do in the area. The staff went out of there way to advise on things to do. Special pat on the back to Jen who obviously takes much pride in the hotel, doing her job well and making sure all visitors are happy. The taxi stand is at the ho... what people say » tel. I liked the fact that it was a
city-feeling hotel, old school with
modern touches. The hotel was on
the hilly part of downtown San Diego, overlooking the City itself with a distant view of the Harbor; along with a walkway extending outward with table and chairs for outside sitting to catch the incredible breeze. I liked the personal touch of a "sail boat" greeting card, which everyone signed, placed in the hotel room.

Great location for sea world visit.
There was a problem at our initial check in which wasn't good. However I have to say that the manageress stepped in and resolved the matter with a real customer focus in trying to ensure we had a good stay. For me this is when a hotels reputation stands or falls in how they go about resolving problems. Staff were a credit to the company and I would def recommend to others
