This was by far the best hotel we have found in San Diego. Luxury for a very reasonable price! The staff was wonderful, our room was fantastic, (corner king), the food was good (pulled pork was best I've had in ages!), and the views were gorgeous. I loved how close it was to so many areas of SD. The pool area (with the firepits at night!) looked wonderful, but it was so windy so we didn't stay. I also loved the old pictures throughout the hotel. If you are from SD it was particularly super to see them. From the moment we walked into the hotel, we were treated like royalty! The front staff was super friendly and were very speedy with check in. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the hotel and could not have been happier! The adult pool was very relaxing and Redfield's was a lot of fun - great drinks! Manchester Grand Hyatt is a fabulous hotel and is one we can't wait to visit again!!. We ruined a toilet and I 'complained' and the service I recieved was a new room within 10 seconds or less, the service given to myself and he group was outstanding, the person looking after me was caring and polite and coming from Australia myself I couldn't believe how good and convenient it was thank you :d. The location is perfect for San Diego activities. Our room overlooked the bay and Midway carrier museum. Appreciated the restaurants nearby so we could walk and not use our car. Friendly staff, I used the hotel florist because it was our 39th anniversary and my wife said the fresh cut flowers were the most beautiful I have ever gotten for her in all our years together. Spacious room, recently renovated. Nice view on the harbor. The hotel is in walking distance to the Gaslamp quarter with lots of good bars and restaurants. After asking for the wifi, we got it complimentary.Which was a nice extra since it was not in included in the booking. Kindness of staff,special mention for Basel at reception who helped us wonderfully. And the kind cleaning lady.Delicious breakfast,adult pool,super comfortable beds, quiet room . We travel a lot around the world and this is one of our favourite hotels.... The hotel was very comfortable with great facilities! I enjoyed dining in and being able to walk to the Village. We could see a lot of things from our room, we could see two air carriers at the other side of the sea, we also could see the swimming pool from our room. But it was a little bit dark in the room. The whole stay was perfection. You have to go quite early if you want a window seat on the 40th floor bar. People go there to just sit and read the paper, even, which is a waste of time and space to me! But be patient, be flexible and enjoy it. Nothing at all!. 1. Parking is pricey--$26 for self parking; $36 for valet. 2. Despite our bay view, we also overlooked an abandoned building that was an eyesore. 3. Finally, it seems like anyone off the street can come use the pool as some people there were definitely not hotel guests. They charge to print documents such as a boarding pass.. That we had to leave early! Honestly, nothing occurs to me even loved the gift shop as she found a beautiful top on sale and a great pair of sandels (that weren't on sale!). Parking is 26 dollars per night. Breakfast is not included and costs a whopping 32 dollars per person per night! Enough breakfast options close to the hotel. Windows should be cleaned more, very dirty from the outside. I found that walking to the town centre was a bit of a distance for me but that was only because I was jetlagged. it did not pose a big problem for me as I chose to eat at the hotel!. Internet charge (around £6 per day). Horrible crowd up the hall for two nights, kids playing in the hallway, wrestling, screaming, knocking on doors, despite speaking to the kids, their parent (mom) and the front desk. Uncivilized. Nothing. NO,everything feel good. Lack of affordable laundry facilities nearby. Noise did seem to be the biggest issue - there was construction outside our window. And the walls seemed a little thin. The bathroom could have been cleaner! Found too many hairs from previous guests. The place is awesome!. Nothing. I tool my little Dog with me, the Hotel is Dog friendly. That is wonderful! The only problem is that they changed their Dog policy. They used to let you stay anywhere in the Hotel with the dog. Now there is only one floor that you can stay with the dog & there are smoking rooms on that floor. I could smell smoke in my non-smoking room. I am very allergic the smoke! I was dissapointed!. Pool area needs update and no shower facilities at 2 pool areas.$28 A nite to park added 20% to room costs and a hidden charge. Should work out price with this included so real understanding of total price of stay. Pay to park and for wi fi at the price they charge not worth it.How can much cheaper hotels have both free?. Hotel is massive, with lots and lots of people. We booked a Corner Room specifically to have a great view of the harbour - did not match up to pictures we had seen and we expected better. The fact that we have to pay for parking. It's not cheap either. I thought I booked a corner room online but it wasn't available upon check-in. The toilet ran all night. Very disappointed that the 40th floor did not serve dinner. The hallway to our room was not very clean. And parking is $28 a night which seems excessive on top of paying for a room. None. Paying $36/valet parking. Would like more softer towels. Finding parking in the parking garage at night in the weekends. A convenience store close for small items. I didn't like that I couldn't make a coffee because of the coffee maker was missing a part. The Hotel needs to have more stores And the operation hour of the little Cafe ( that serves snacks and coffee etc..) must surely be extended. No thing at all. When we arrived there was a rubber glove on the floor in our room and a spray bottle of cleaner on the tv stand. Obviously the cleaning staff forgot a few things...... Confused about the billing, my VISA shows a much larger amount "pending", however, I think it will adjust. Hard to think of anything. We booked our stay on line through letsbookhotel.com once we got there they did not have our reservation so it took 20 minutes just to recreate our stay we were quoted 398.00 for our stay once we got the bill it was 845.00 do a refund had to be givin. I must say I was very disappointed!.
