  The guy who owns/runs it is nice. And it is very easy to check in and out. TV has cable and HBO. The air conditioner works well. Clean sheets. The guy who runs it doesn't ask questions and gives you privacy. - Nothing. Roaches; big roaches. Had to ask for towels both nights. Locks on doors did not work, at all.   The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The linens were magnificent and the bath products were luxurious. Loved these products so much that I have purchased them thru the internet. The work out room has high quality and variety of equipment. The internet is hi speed and reliable. This hotel is next to IH610 however, the - A cracking hotel with a great central location to the Galleria and local business district. I've stayed in all the other hotels locally and this is the best of the lot in my opinion. The gym is also great (with good TV's on cardio equipment). Parking is also plentiful and you can self park (becoming quite rare in Galleria Hotel area). I look to head back soon.

  I drove from Fort Worth and I booked my trip through bookin.com. I made a few mistakes when I booked on line. When I checked the day before I went to the hotel, lorie one of the staff members not in management informed me that I booked three rooms unstead two room. I booked in the per season because I can't afford it in the season but I will go back as soon as the season - The room ac was cool. The fridge was cold. Our little patio was private and great for drying swimsuits. The beds were comfy. The beach was right there! Nice outdoor showers for rinsing off. The breakfast at Pirates was good and priced about what you'd pay for the same breakfast at ihop or someplace similar. It was quiet, clean, and safe. They are obviously growing and trying to keep up.   The pool and lazy river was the high light of the trip for my twin 7 year old boys. The nature aspect around the pool sites were just beautiful. - All the staff was very friendly The location is excellent with all the waterfun and the golf course is amazing!
