The owners, Maggie and Joey, were very personable and accomodating as we
have 2 young children (ages 2 and 4). -
Lovely old property in a very pretty spot, accessible by public
transport from Boston ( the bus drops you off right outside). The view
is also stunning. Magpie is a wonderful host, attentive without being
overbearing and the food is excellent. She is also very good at giving
full and detailed information on how to get to the B&B in advance. I
would definitely recommend this to anyone.

We stayed there for 2 nights. It was a great experience. We felt this hotel has a very special athmosphere.
At our arrival the hotel owners came out of the hotel to welcome us and to help us to park our car (it is bit less space to park the car right at the hotel, but this wasn't really an issue)
The Benchmark Inn is a small hotel with just a few rooms. Everything was clean. The room has a lot little extras.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean however could have used some different curtains to darken the room for sleeping. The kitchen staff, ( wish we asked her name) were excellent and went out of her way to make sure everyone was happy. In fact so much so, that we wondered if she was the owner.
