We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean however could have used some different curtains to darken the room for sleeping. The kitchen staff, ( wish we asked her name) were excellent and went out of her way to make sure everyone was happy. In fact so much so, that we wondered if she was the owner. The food and amount of same was great! We would return!! And the location was just a minute walk from the beautiful Kennedy Walking and biking trails.
all reviews » The fabulous staff, from the innkeepers , including the chef and housekeeping made you feels as you were guests in their home. We plan to return many times. Everything was tastefully done. The breakfasts were gourmet. Above the 5 star hotels I have stayed in around the world. The pond was so refreshing; combined with the trees there was a sense of cool, comfortable weather, even though the weekend was quite hot. The staff were friendly and quick to make themselves available to guests. The breakfast was great. Beautifully maintained inn, great service, wonderful full breakfast. They made an early one for the runners in a marathon, of which I was one. Booked for same date/ race next year, have never done this but liked that much!!. Loved the location. The grounds with waterfall were beautiful. The breakfast was delicious. The owner was extremely gracious. The room was extremely clean. Would definitely stay again. The staff is excellent...friendly and efficient.Besides having a marvelous location, the breakfast is fantastic, If it were not so far from Virginia, we would go just for breakfast. We loved the charm of an older home. The waterfall, pond and flowers were beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and neat,. Everything - very friendly staff, amazing breakfast - all home-made and delicious, and clean rooms. Nice outside terrace with waterfall and koi pond. Staff warm and responsive, but not intrusive. The best B & B I have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many. inclididing two others in Lenox. Are you kidding... everything was terrific. I know it's hard to keep up the exterior of an older home but it is need of a paint job. no fridge or coffee maker in room. Breakfast buffet ok. Not great. Couple of problems regarding equipment. just about everything.
