  We were thrilled with the Wyndham Grand Desert! Highlights were the mini-kitchen including a DISHWASHER, in-unit washer/dryer, separate bedroom, and lovely pool area. Soundproofing must be pretty good because we hardly ever heard any other guests while in our unit.   I cannot rate the staff because we had 2 experiences, one bad, one great. The first woman we checked in with was just snotty-attempting to be business like, but really, was a b----. Wouldn't give us a good rate, so we made reservations from Booking right then and there. Then, went to the other check in person, named Derek, and he was great. The bo... what people say » oking hadn't come through yet, so he had someone do it manually, and gave us a great suite. This hotel is wonderful---off the strip, and quiet. We not - The staff were excellent to deal with. We stayed for 2 days then away a night before returning for another 4 and they allowed us to view a different room first so we could check in straight away. As it turned out, we wanted the same room we had before so they made that happen and recognised the room had just been released so we could checkin right then. The facilities were exactly what we needed for a long stay. The housekeeping was also excellent as was the heated pool.

  The staff was friendly and helpful. When we had a concern about our room, it was taken care of quickly and without any sense of it being an inconvenience. The proximity to the District shopping area was nice. The shuttle service was also convenient. - We had a brief stay with Green Valley and will definitely return.   It was a marvelous, beautiful and quiet place. There is a restaurent in the hotel, during the week and in off season it looks closed but it's open, you have to ask. On week end the village gets alive and ther is a lot of peoples and activities (we had fire works, jazz concert).   When we first arrived we were placed in a room in the seventh floor, which had windows that you could barely see out of. On top of that, we found hairs in the bed. However, just a call to guest relations got housekeeping to change the sheets. The next day we spoke with a staff member and they were able to accomodate us in another room. While at first I was a bit - The wave pool was amazing and very fun for my 12 and 14 year old boys and myself. It was soo hot in Vegas (104+) that we stayed in the water the entire 4 pool hours each day of our stay. The lazy river was fun as well with a good speed to it for drifting or running/swimming. We enjoyed the lux room view from the 23rd floor facing the pool. Everyone was friendly and the Starbucks was handy. We enjoyed the Michael Jackson One show and the buffets for each meal except one dinner and one breakfast.
