Excellent in every way, particularly in the area of customer service. The manager (Chris O'Sullivan) went above and beyond to make sure my mother and her friend had a fantastic time - as I (daughter) was unable to go last minute. This included an introduction to the owner of Fitzpatricks' hotels - John Fitzpatrick, a complimentary bottle of champa

After arriving by car and experiencing a not too helpful doorman, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite. I had not complained about schlepping my bags from my car by myself, but someone must have noticed. The rooms were huge by NYC standards, especially nice since I was visiting my son and his fiancé and we got to spend some time relaxing in the hotel. The hotel is in a tremendous location (next to Bloomingdale's!), easy walking distance to everything in midtown. The floor and

I was travelling with my 15 year old daughter. The hotel was a pleasant surprise amidst the unattractive neighborhood. The room was small, but that's New York. Regarding location, some might find the surrounding industry/depot businesses disturbing, but you cannot beat the stunning view of the Manhattan skyline, you have from all rooms and the rooftop-terrace. The area is quiet at night - also if you walk home to your hotel in the evening. Convenient with the complimentary hotel shuttlebus, but you could also easily walk to the subway station Queensboro Plaza 7 blocks from the hotel (8 min walk). In the morning there might be a bit of noice from truck

Hotel is 'as-expected' but 7 blocks from subway in a nothing-
special neighbourhood. We had a small issues with our booking through
the website : we booked 3, they expected 2 and although a bit stubborn
to start they fixed the problem. The gym is ok but the pool hours are
too short : 10 to 6pm

The staff was very polite and the manager helped me chose a specific
room prior to my stay. The Hotel is fairly modern and cozy. Not too
upscale that you'd feel like your sleeping in an overly furnished
office space.
The TV's are great. It has DirectTV so you wont miss your favorite shows, but if you have a game console or media hub you can plug it in to the available HDMI port. Most hotels block this or have a dedicated hotel TV service with complicated menus and standard quality TV, so this w
