  First experience of a hostel and it was excellent. Helpful staff, extrememly clean and well kept, fruit, cereal and bagels provided for breakfast with microwave and cooker should you wish to purchase anything for yourself, basic room but perfect as base for exploring Chicago. 5 to 10 mins walk to John Hancock Centre and oak street beach and explo... what people say » red a great deal of Chicago by foot. Hope to stay again sometime. - I liked the location in terms of being able to walk or easily take public transportation to the heart of the city as well as the immediate area, 6 bed dorm room and nice bathroom, helpful staff (gave out good local map to all hostelers), general cleanliness, and "complimentary breakfast all day", which included tea, coffee, fruit, bagels and cream cheese as a plus.

  The hotel is in an excellent location. I really like the courtyard and the clean environment.The staff were excellent especially the janitors - 5 star service. Warm and friendly staff. The fact that they do not accept tips made their committment to excellence all the more valid.

  Was comfortable and convenient. When I told them that I needed to keep my insulin cool they gave me a little refrigerator without charge. However, what kind of a hotel room does not already have a refrigerator? The one cup at a time coffee pot was great but if I had stayed in longer than an hour after getting up, more than one unit of coffee would... what people say » have been appreciated. - I liked the check in a lot: quick, friendly and professional guy.   Loved the location as this lovely boutique hotel is a walking distance from subway, nice restaurants and cafés and all the shopping. At my arrival by cab, I was greeted with such a beautiful smile by the concierge boy /porter, which already gave the ton of the welcoming professional and friendly staff I was about to get for my stay at Felix. Comin... what people say » g from far abroad and arriving in such a big city, it's always a nice consideration to feel sincerely welcomed. A simple smile goes a long way! As for - I've stayed at a different hotel my last four trips to Chicago, because I just can't find the right place. I finally found it. Hotel Felix is clean, quiet, stylish, and comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The location is convenient. This was a great find and I'll stay here on future visits, for sure!

  This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! The building itself is really impressive, the room (as well as the bathroom!) was spacious with pleasant furnishing, the staff was really friendly and helpful. This is really a luxury hotel: when you go in, you feel pleasant fragrance in the lobby, if it rains you can borrow umbrella, people o... what people say » pen the front door for you etc. The location is just perfect. You can find a red line station nearby. - Good things about the room: clean, great shower apart from the bath, the beds, no noise. Good things about the hotel: at night great lighteffects, good bar, nice personnel, luxury looks.   As soon as we settled in our room we received a call to see if we needed anything. People gave service a 6 out of 10 which is rediculous. 10/10 for sure. The best hotel in chicago. - Did not get to spend much time in the hotel, but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very lovely, although the lighting could have been brighter.

So friendly and helpful, they really made us feel like they were to make our stay as pleasant as possible...a claim made by all hotels and motels, but a promise not always kept. Keep it up! - The hotel is a little gem. It was very clean, nicely decorated, very friendly helpful staff, great location with a lot nearby especially restaurants. The beds and bedding were really comfortable, loved the soft ribbed blankets and we didn't hear people talking through the walls. The Chicago magazine was really helpful and Pizza Ora was a great find.
