  The hotel is in a good location, a couple of blocks from the Hancock Center, Oak Street Beach, and the Museum of Contemporary Art. We rented a 2-bedroom suite - the kitchen and family room were very comfortable and nicely appointed. Daily complementary hot breakfast was always very good.   Travelling with 5 young children and 3 adults can be daunting at times, but ALL the staff from the doormsn to the dining room, front desk to managers were absolutely incredible. Friendly and efficient, and made our kids feel like rock stars everytime they passed. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and there was plenty of seating every morning. Impressive lobby with convenient breakfast room location. Nice to have coffee available throughout the day. Breakfast quality was good and we so enjoyed the energy and attitude of Veronica, the breakfast attendant. Comfortable beds.

  I really liked the location. We were able to walk to several places we wanted to visit, including the Art Institute and the Doughnut Vault. The check-in was quick and easy, and they were nice to suggest some places we should visit when asked. Parking is expensive, but I appreciated being able to park overnight in the garage attached to the buildin... what people say » g. Price included breakfast. We enjoyed having a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, dishes & cups, coffee pot, and popcorn in the room, in addition to - I can not recommend this Marriott Residence Inn highly enough. The location, the comfort, the price, and, most appreciated, the graciousness and helpfulness of every staff member made the entire five-day stay memorable and enjoyable. I hope to return for leisure rather than business.
