  This was our first visit to New York. The location is excellent. I travelled with my three daughters and we felt safe. Easy access to subway, shopping and sight seeing.   The hotel staff was so accommodating. We arrived before check in and were able to leave our bags in a secured room while we ventured off. When booking, I asked that they put us on the highest floor with the best view for the deal I was offered. When we awoke the next morning, there was a complimentary bottle of sparkling Voss and a hand written - I was there to Burry My Mother I came in from Hawaii the only thing is I could not Ck in untill 1:00pm I was traveling with my son and the flight landed at 6:30am when I booked the Hotel with you you called them and ask if I could ck in early you said that they would try but when I got there I was not in the system but after about 10 minutes they said every thing was good but I could no ck in untill they would call me but they did let me leave my bags.

  I like everything about our stay at the Hampton Inn at 35th St. All of the staff from the desk reception, maintenance and cleaning staff were very friendly and professional! My daughter loved the complimentary hot chocolate. She even commented "Mom, I really like this hotel" and she's only 14. The beds were comfy and everything was cleaned eve... what people say » ryday. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would highly recommend - I selected Hampton Inn because, as a former Hilton hotels employee, I knew what I was going to get. I appreciate the early check in, the late check out, and, more importantly, thank you for honoring my request for a crib, it made a huge difference! Jane at the front desk was amazing! She's an asset to the hotel, made the check in process seamlessly. Luis at the breakfast buffet was very attentive and caring. Staff very helpful and friendly, breakfasts v good. Some people have complained about the fact that only 2 elevators served (I think) up to 12 floors. Would highly recommend for great value and loc - The location is terrific. It is in the middle of manhattan and next to important subway stations. Extremely convenient transportation. The next door is 5th avenue and macy'S. Also it is near korean town and cafes and bars so that both western and eastern style food is easy to get. The room I am in is quite new, with big tv and good city view to Empire building (if you stay above 16th floor). Breakfast is very nice indeed. And the most important, staffs are very nice! Especially Mathew!
