The hotel staff was so accommodating. We arrived before check in and were able to leave our bags in a secured room while we ventured off. When booking, I asked that they put us on the highest floor with the best view for the deal I was offered. They put us up on the 25th floor (there are only 31) in a corner, where we had a spectacular view of the city. The ambiance was certainly a wow-factor. When we awoke the next morning, there was a complimentary bottle of sparkling Voss and a hand written .
all reviews » I was there to Burry My Mother I came in from Hawaii the only thing is I could not Ck in untill 1:00pm I was traveling with my son and the flight landed at 6:30am when I booked the Hotel with you you called them and ask if I could ck in early you said that they would try but when I got there I was not in the system but after about 10 minutes they said every thing was good but I could no ck in untill they would call me but they did let me leave my bags. The Hilton Garden Inn is located in a central area, close to shops, restaurants, subway stations and sites. Times Square is a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is clean, secure (requires a key card for access after 8pm) and has a business center that is free of charge. The staff is also very polite and helpful. I'm so glad I stayed there and hope to again when I visit New York. Everything! Courteous kind helpful Ryan, joseph and George! Made us feel safe and welcome in NYC. Thrilled daughter with free snacks and a room with the great view of Empire State, great location to transports and food, and walking! I always stay in this Hotel when I visit Manhattan. The location is perfect, right in the centre of midtown and easily accessible from Penn Station. Great for shopping in 5th avenue and there is a subway stop around the corner. The rate is reasonable considering it is New York and you get the Hilton treatment. It is a great hotel to stay at. Ryan and Tameika at the front desk were excellent! Room was a good size by NYC standards. Excellent shower with glass doors and bathroom size was great...lots of counter space. Loved having a mini fridge and microwave in room. They also left 2 packets of caffeinated coffee per day in room (plus 1 decaf) which is great Bed was very comfortable.Excellent location; clean, spacious room near Penn Station and Times Square. Modern, updated rooms and free Wi-Fi in the room. Restaurant and small bar in the building. Walkable to the Javitz Convention Center (approx 1 mile). -Although there are cheaper hotels in the area, it's difficult to find one with all of these features and free WiFi. Its very well located and at the frontbdesk they said we had a roommwith a view to empire, i expected some little view of the building farway and it turned to bem an excelent and close view of it. For the prices it was a bit too much expensive, but I think it was reasonable,since it was on thanksgiving. You can walk anywhere in Manhattan. It is very close to Empire State building. Too cold in the lobby, but all hotels and shops are like that in heat days. I liked everything about this hotel. can;t think of anything. Nothing, the only negative was that we only stayed for 5 nights!!. Price was a bit expensive but, guys, that's new york. The room was a lil tight.. Needs more space. Other that nothing!. Nothing.. nothing much. No kettle to make hot tea. The room is kind of small but still bigger than others that I stayed at NYC. Indeed there's nothing to complain about. Nothing. I thought Breakfast was alittle pricey at $16.95 although service was excellent. Room is not very spacious, but that's NYC, i should not complained about this. The only negative thing is that you have to pay deposit $50 per day. Most of the hotels I stayed in NY before don't take any deposits and it makes you wonder what's the reason to have a few hundred dollars being blocked on your card. I was disappointed as letsbookhotel.com rated the hotel as `Fab.` I think it was `lovely`there! Coffee maker in a bad place, cant get to it and very dark! Nothing to comes to mind to describe the hotel as `Fab`only maybe the view???. Room size was small. Listing said "double room with double bed" Was two double beds but definitely not a "double room". a bit of noise in the morning. Price little high but New York and the location, what more could I say. The rooms were very small. The interior of the elevator was a little hokey. I would like the breakfast was included. one of the lifts was out of order, every time I had to wait up to 5-10 minutes for the lift to go to my room on the 8th floor!. Concierge was always too busy to consult. Bar downstairs closes too early. the fact that there were no smoking rooms.
