It was a day layover for 25th wedding ani /50th birthday
en route to Hawaii. Given room upgrade not quite a suite but corner room views both ways. Biggest chocolate strawberrys/and cake and cream ive ever seen as a special gesture and free. staff and conciege extra polite and helpful.As previous comments this is a luxury standard by which all others should be judged the besr hotel we have stayed in and weve stayed in some top ones. the hotel is steeped in history take the trouble to enquire????

location (a bit closer to White House would mean sleeping in a tent on their lawn :) ), when staying on Executive level you have access to the Executive Lounge - basic drinks and fresh fruit during the day - very convinient because you don't have to be just in the room when in a hotel, staff very kind and trying to help -

The hotel is fully renovated. Nice, clean, modern. Having a kitchen helped feed breakfast in the morning for kids. Close to Mt. Vernon square metro station-yellow line. Friendly front desk. Elisa is great. Left our bags at the hotel upon check out since we had a later flight. CVS is round the block for groceries. We were flying from DCA - so a quick 5 min walk to metro and we were at the airport < 30mins!!

We were stollen at Georgetown and the staff of the hotel was very kind and helpful. We loved the beautiful, tasteful decor and peaceful ambiance of the public areas of this hotel. These areas included an excellent restaurant and bar and a lovely reading room. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. The spa was fabulous. Three of our party had a massage, and each of us was pleased with the experience. The room was quiet and nicely appointed, although not as luxurious as some other five star hotels we've stayed in.

This place was really funky and cool. The staff was really nice and helpful and the rooms were clean and had everything you need including leopard robes! It is a good location to walk to the see the sights and there are a lot of good restaurants within a block. -
