This place was really funky and cool. The staff was really nice and helpful and the rooms were clean and had everything you need including leopard robes! It is a good location to walk to the see the sights and there are a lot of good restaurants within a block. Staff were really helpful and friendly! Our rate was unreal thanks to a letsbookhotel.com discounted rate. Free bicycles. Free wine between 5 and 6pm everyday. Quirky style. Comfy bed. What else could you ask for?!.
all reviews » Everything. We have stayed here two times, and both stays have been great ! It is within. Walking distance to both the national mall, and the nightlife of p street ! Half price parking for my hybrid was a plus. Staff was excellent. Special thanks to Terrance (front), Walter (lounge) and Mike r (asst mgr). They went out of their way to make our stay special. Very funky and radical design Large bedrooms Great location for sight seeing Free wifi if you sign up the group emails Free wine 5-6pm every night. On joining the points programme I was given $10 from the mini-bar, had free wine hour. I loved the decor helpful staff. Loved my stay. The two bikes you can rent for free are great, but it would even be greater if the hotel would provide more than two... The staff is gave us an excellent assitance when we had problems with our rental car. I liked the free wine at 5:00 and the room rate and the location. Staff member Walter was extremely nice. Room was very clean. Very modern and hip. A different twist on hotel leisure. youthful vibe; location; decor; comfort. Everithing. The hotel is excelent. staff was very helpful and polite. Very friendly and helpful staff. Customer service was excellent. the decor. The location was good with easy access to the Metro which enabled us to easily reach all the sites and monuments of DC. Having a small selection of restaurants on the doorstep was handy. Staff. Parking is $42 a night. Would like to see more activity's in the lounge. We had to leave the hotel each night for something to do. Also microwave in the room for guest staying long. We were there 5 days. All my family kept hitting the well hidden edge of the bed. I was not allowed to park my own car , being English I don't like other people drving it, or go to it when I needed to get something from it unless I approached a member of staff a bit of a pain,. The breakfast is not included and with the price the we've paid we had breakfast in many other hotels around USA. I thought the off-prints on the windows, shower curtain and sheer net around the bed was a little over-the-top, as well as the leopard robe. My daughter ordered a bottle of red wine to be sent to my room. I got a nice fruit bowl, but a bottle of champagne instead of what she ordered. I absolutely did not like the dog policy. I heard many dogs barking and in the elevator a dog growled at me. Not good. Also the parking price was outrageous. Not a lot of street parking if you drove your own vehicle. Nothing. overnite parking was a bit pricey. I am certain that isn't the first time you heard that, but better than a $100.00 ticket from DC. A long walk from a Metro in very hot temperatures. shower poorply designed, water was all over the bathroom, no mirrors in double queen. Women need mirrors. Not spacious. TV didn't swivel, so 2nd bed could not comfortably watch. The hotel has a great funky design however wear and tear is beginning to show. A preventative maintenance programme definitely needs to be introduced. Staff do not demonstrate any basic guest recognition; which should be a minimum standard in any field of hospitality. Hotel corridors are very noisy with lots of people coming and going at all hours. 100 deposit... Random 15 dollar charge that wasn't warranted. This is a nightclub with a hotel attached, seemingly as an afterthought. Everything looks old and not very clean.
