Everything about the stay was amazing. The staff was wonderful!! They
were helpful from the get go. I had to have my cell phone fed ex to the
hostel & they took care of this. I had to leave a package at the
front desk for a friend to pick up and they took care of this. They
helped me figure out how to negavigate the city at the cheapest rate.

Check in was easy, staff was friendly. Corridor was noisy but quiet during "quiet time." Parking is on the street/metered, so that was a bit of a walk to find. The facility/room was very clean and beds pretty comfy. We had a private room w/two twin beds, tv, mini fridge. It was very small, but met our needs w/flying colors!

The staff was the first impression of Gaslamp Plaza suites and was definitely a great one. Walking into the room I expected an average looking room with average looking furniture and found myself in a luxury suite. This hotel by far is my favorite and for the price I paid for made me want to return and I will. -

Excellent position in the middle of nightlife (by the way we had a room

Charming boutique hotel with lots of charm in a historic building. It's well located in the Gaslight Quarter, close to the Convention Center and with easy access to all the things that make San Diego fun. The rooms are very nice with a fireplace and lots of faux-antiques that made the rooms look more "Victorian" and lots of fun. It had all the modern comforts while giving the impression that we were staying in Wyatt Earp's old San Diego. I'd definitely stay there again.
