Everything about the stay was amazing. The staff was wonderful!! They
were helpful from the get go. I had to have my cell phone fed ex to the
hostel & they took care of this. I had to leave a package at the
front desk for a friend to pick up and they took care of this. They
helped me figure out how to negavigate the city at the cheapest rate.

Check in was easy, staff was friendly. Corridor was noisy but quiet during "quiet time." Parking is on the street/metered, so that was a bit of a walk to find. The facility/room was very clean and beds pretty comfy. We had a private room w/two twin beds, tv, mini fridge. It was very small, but met our needs w/flying colors!

Well located for a tourist. Close by are many restaurants and one of the stops for the hop-on hop-off trolley tour, which takes visitors to must-see sights such as Coronado Island and the San Diego zoo. The staff was the first impression of Gaslamp Plaza suites and was definitely a great one. Walking into the room I expected an average looking room with average looking furniture and found myself in a luxury suite. The location is unbeatable if you want to stroll the Gaslight District and visit Horton Mall. The room was on the small side but immaculately clean w/the standard amenities and more. Ideal location. My experience made me want to move to san diego. Staff
had great recommendations, from cheap parking to good seafood. Great,
clean rooms..the bed was more comfortable than my own bed at home. My

arrived, but ultimately she loved it and we'll be staying here ag

outside). Nice habit of the hostel is preparing one's own breakfast

It is clear from the moment you step food in front of the hotel to the

Charming boutique hotel with lots of charm in a historic building. It's well located in the Gaslight Quarter, close to the Convention Center and with easy access to all the things that make San Diego fun. The rooms are very nice with a fireplace and lots of faux-antiques that made the rooms look more "Victorian" and lots of fun. It had all the modern comforts while giving the impression that we were staying in Wyatt Earp's old San Diego. I'd definitely stay there again.

This was my 18th hotel in 30 days and was the best. The gaslight district is a short walk and there is heaps to do in the area. The staff went out of there way to advise on things to do. I liked the fact that it was a
city-feeling hotel, old school with
modern touches. The hotel was on
the hilly part of downtown San Diego, overlooking the City itself with a distant view of the Harbor; along with a walkway extending outward with table and chairs for outside sitting to catch the incredible breeze. I liked the personal touch of a "sail boat" greeting card, which everyone signed, placed in the hotel room.
