  From the moment we walked into the hotel lobby we felt very at home....there was a wonderful smell of fresh lillies and the check-in was very efficient and courteous. We had forgotten our padlock key to our suitcase but it wasn't a problem as one of the staff came up to our room with a pair or bolt cutters! The bed was one of the most comfortable ... what people say » we have ever slept in- which made it difficult getting up in the mornings! The room was lovely and had tea/coffee making facilities as well as a micro - I find the Blakely to be centrally located for all activities in Manhattan. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The rooms are spacious enough. I love the area in the room where you have Emeril Kerik coffee and the Kerik coffee maker. there is also a microwave, a small refrigerator, sink and utensils for morning coffee if you want to sleep late and not take advantage of the complimentary breakfast. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms spotless where the magnifying mirror on the wall is

  What did I like? Just about everything! The front desk staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The restaurant "Serafina" was excellent. The beds were heavenly (like sleeping in a big cloud), and the bathrooms were clean, well-appointed and modern. Loved the soap/shower gels/shampoo provided. Great location.   The quietness. Like a retreat. Great food. - Staff were courteous and efficient. Checked in early but no rooms were available, they said they would call me when I could go to the room. They did. The room I got I didn't like (close to elevator door and TV not straight in from of bed). They upgraded me to quieter corner room.

  The hotel location is 5 minutes walk from time square. The staff members are very nice and helpfull. The room was clean, very comfortable and the bed is unforgettable :). We staied 7 nights in the hotel and we enjoined every minute. Special thanks to Ruby from the reception that was really nice to talk with and help us a lot in every quastion. - ... what people say » It was an excellent value. Very boutique-y and we loved the truly modern feel. We also had to check out early bc of unforeseen circumstances which required us to leave the city early. They were so helpful!
