  There was a mix up with the Hampton Hotels (at the corporate level) in making the reservation in Baltimore.   The room was clean and comfortable. The exercise room was MUCH better than I expected. Most Hotels only have a small room with a couple of pieces of equipment. You have 3 exercise bikes, 4 treadmills, 3 or 4 elliptical trainers, Several large screen TVs to watch. A nice set of nautilus equipment and an assortment of free weight dumb bells. The indoor pool was nice my son used it and the sauna and liked both. - We stayed the weekend of the Preakness and many college graduations in the area. We were there for a college graduation at 1st Mariner Center, across the street, so it could not have been more convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and the overall condition of the hotel very good. Parking was also convenient, safe and fairly priced.

  We were plesantly surprised with our accomodations based on reviews we saw. We had an end room so noise wasn't a problem. The staff was friendly and courteous. The hotel gym was great, though one of the attendants was a little intrusive and wouldn't let us work out in peace. Luckily, he was only there one day. The location was great!
