  We arrived at the Anantara in the evening and were promptly checked in and shown our room. It took a few minutes for us honeymooners to realise we had been given twin beds much to our dismay, guest services offered to move us to another room but we had to wait a couple of hours for it to be available, not a great start.... My concerns immediately ... what people say » dissipated when we were shown to our new room, a complimentary upgrade to a "suite", which is actually just a much larger, better appointed room. If y - beautiful hotel, staff very professional and all very very friendly. Nice welcome and personal accompany to room by receptionist. Big hotel but you don/t sence that, the setup of the buildings (3 wings) and gardens give it a hidden, cozy atmosphere. Breakfast is amaaaaazing! Free shuttle boat to Central pier every half hour. From late afternoon also stop at Asiatique (great shopping and dining) on the other side of the river). Good gym with group classes like step/yoga/stretching. Very nice It
