  The view was absolutley fantastic and we had a big balcony so we could enjoy it even more. It is right on the sea front so only a 2 minute walk and you are on the beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants right underneath us to eat and drink at! There was a firework display at 2am which I unfortuntely missed but my partner sat on the balcony in full vi... what people say » ew of it!I would def recommend it!!! - Staff was very nice and helpful.   The location is great! In the middle of the old center, in walking distance to many restaurants, tapas bars, sights, shopping street, etc. The price-quality ratio of the hotel is very good. Our room was about 46 euro per night, for a small room with double bed, hot shower, small balcony; no breakfast though. Warm atmosphere, good information available at reception. - The hostel is very basic but practical and ideal for those on a budget. Centrally located, it is an ideal base when exploring the city and the surrounding areas. I opted for my own bathroom which was well worth the additional 4 euros per day. I'm often concerned about security in Hostels but this was diminished in El Cid completely - I felt comfortable leaving my belongings in my room when out and about.

  the staff was very helpfull. the rooms are nice and well equiped. the batroom is not big but the shower is "great". the position is great, in a little pedestrian street quiet but close to the station of many buses to explore the city and near the metro station. Good wifi in room! I didn't try the breakfast so I can't rate it. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is within walking distance of the old town and all the sights there, but you would probably need to take a taxi or a bus to the arts and sciences buildings in the old riverbed.

  The hotel is off the center so it is easy to access from the motorways by car. Despite that it is not located in the city center, it has a very good connection by public transport (1 line 3 stops but keep an eye on the timetable, especially at late evenings). The room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Parking is free on the streets... what people say » nearby but the hotel guests have an access to the underground parking right beside the building, which costs only 9 EUR. - The breakfast was awesome: crepes, a variety of breads, cheeses, meats, pastries, yogurts, juices and coffee. Also, when I discovered at 10 pm that the thermostat control in my room was broken, the staff changed me to a room across the hall a few minutes later. Overall service was very good. The women who worked there were very nice and helpful in every way!
