Our 3 day visit to Barcelona was excellent - the hotel staff were very freindly and helpful. The location is out of town, but you don't have far to get on the Metro or the trams. Stay as high as you can, view is excellent with city view more impressive than sea view. Do not have a smoking room as windows can not be opened for safety reasons. If parking car, pull up at front of hotel and staff will park for you and retrieve from car park when required

The location was ideal, close to the subway, which took us in a couple of minutes to the congress facility and to the city center as well. Although the Confortel Barcelona is not in the city center, it is well located. It is 5 minutes walk to the subway, which is only 3 to 5 stations to the city center depending where you want to go.
