    We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was fantastic to wander through. The heat was on, there was a hair dryer for me to use, they even had an electric kettle and tea sitting in our room - It was excellent in all ways * it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !! I d stay there again ~~)

    Excellent I feel is a very rate for this hotel. However I would certainly rate it higher than average. A rate of 4.5 I feel would be a more accurate rate. I enjoyed my stay at your hotel. The bacon and egg breakfast I had is one of the tastiest breakfasts I have eaten in a long time. - I highly recommend this place. I was walking the camino an... what people say » d needed a day of rest because of blisters. I could only hobble a few steps. The staff brought me food to my room, and kept an eye on how I was doing. They were extremely kind and helpful . Also spoke English .

    Delightful converted monastery. While the rooms were basic the building and its gardens were fabulous - we had our picnic lunch in the cloister gardens. Extremely quiet and a quiet location on the university's old campus. Good continental breakfast. Lots of free parking.     Small room with double bed, firm mattress and plain furniture in separate building. Very nice staff. It is clean with view of street and chickens in yard across the street. As advertised there is no air conditioning but don't open windows. There is a serious fly problem in this area due to nearby farms.     A great deal of thought and care has gone into the property. Immaculately presented. Homely and rustic feel. Very knowledgeable and attentive owner who is an ambassador for lcoal tourism. We ate in the local bar "San Martin", and we ate like royalty! Also note that Corcubion is apparently the main source port for razor clams (Navajas) which we co - We especially appreciated the hotel's owner, who welcomed us warmly and personally, and, in spite of a language barrier, took the time to give us tons of great insight into the region. Thanks to his thoughtful suggestions, our daytrips from Corcubion were filled with amazing views, natural treasures, pristine and isolated beaches. The hotel itself is spotless, new, with beautiful views onto the bay and a gorgeous outdoor terrace perfect for sunny breakfasts or apéros.
