  We just returned from staying 3 nights at this hotel. We were impressed by how well it lived up to its reputation. The kids' favorite part was the pool and the mini-zoo, my favorite part was the good-quality beds, and my husband liked the restaurant. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and attentive, and worked very hard to ensure everything ... what people say » ran smoothly. One special touch was that each apartment had its own drying rack, so we could hang our bathing suits and towels out to dry. The hotel i - We stayed for 10 nights, the hotel is on the edge of town , but everywhere is within easy reach. The Patron and his team were all very friendly and eager to please, we felt very welcome and looked well looked after. A Guarda has the feel of old Spain, lots of friendly polite people, fresh local food and produce, and you feel welcome where ever you go. We stayed during the fiesta's and WOW the amount of people was amazing, but such a friendly atmosphere !

  The staff is extremely friendly and helpfull, especially Candy. The location is amazing. We booked a room with sea view which is definitely worth the money. Lovely breakfast buffee and even in the evening they prepared whatever we fancied.   Very convenient location in the centre of La Coruna, with parking- which is very compact but the hotel staff park the car for you so it isn't a problem!   The room was nice and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice little sea view and jetted tub. Quiet and clean. The location was excellent IF you have a car, as it is a little bit out of main part of town. We had a car and loved how quiet it was. The restaurant and bar are excellent and we highly recommend both! Would definitely stay aga... what people say » in. - Do not expect English speaking personnel. Though we managed to find one girl. She helped a lot with recommendations about sightseeing in the area. Food in the restaurant is really good.

  By far, the staff was much nicer and available than others I've encountered in other hotels (even in 4* plus). The 5-minute walk and the free bikes for guests were perfect!

  Nice location overlooking river. Good BP garage next door with bar/cafe. Hotel staff very accommodating, (althought the restaurant was closed - Sunday) they made us a lovely dinner. Breakfast was included. Son of owner gave us directions to start our Camino walk, great help!

  Excellent staff - very friendly. My mother was ill while we were staying at the hotel and the staff were lovely to her. We really loved this hotel - my room was really comfortable with a jacuzzi bath - very welcome as we stayed in the hotel while walking the Camino de Santiago. The hotel provided us with a pick up from the Camino route and a dro... what people say » p off so the fact that is was a little off route did not impact us. I would certainly recommend this hotel. - Well-appointed, clean room. Really good breakfast and evening meal. The family running the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our two-night stay. We were on a walking holiday and they picked us up on the route and dropped us again. They could not do enough for us. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the hotel and we will certainly return if we are in the area.
