  Location was amazing. Starbucks across the street, shops, restaurants and Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas within walking distance. Equally close to the metro and sightseeing tour buses. Coming into the airport, I was able to get on the inexpensive Aerobus and get dropped off at Pl. Catalunya which made it even better when carrying my luggage. The wifi worke - This was my first time in a hostel & it was a good experience. Location was the best. Placa Catalunya is a good starting point to see the whole of Barcelona, links to the whole city from there. Next to La Rambla, supermarkets & several high st shops. Rooms were spacious, loved the plug socket, nightlight & privacy curtain. To save money I bought food from local supermarket & used the hostels kitchen facilities. Very useful under bed lockers, my belongings were always safe there.

  I liked the crew behind the desk. They were really nice and helpful. Cristian, Micky and Rafael during the day and Dave and Jose during the night. They always made me feel welcome. I stayed in the apartment for 1 night where i got a room to myself and I really liked it. Clean, quiet and stuff. The mixed dorm looked fun too. Monday pub crawl and people were partying in the kitchen and stuff - it seemed very fun and I would have loved to join in had it not been for my long accumulated fatigue. Great place !

  I liked the fact that for a such a noisy place i was able to sleep an wasn't sleep deprived,i had a concern about them not having a safety deposit box in the room with the reputation BCN has for pickpockets, scammers etc but it turned out ok nothing happened. - I went to Barcelona with a friend as a citytrip.   The staff are extremely friendly, always smiling and willing to help, the rooms were cleaned every day, they made us feel very welcome and clearly made an effort for us to be comfortable. They even wrote us a happy anniversary card and got us a bottle of champagne! They provide you with wifi, towels, a tv.   The staff were very helpful and reliable in following through on arrangements. The rooms were very spacious and location easy to find.   One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at! Seemed like the hostel was build by someone who has been traveling a lot and stayed in many hostels because the little things like plug and light for every bed, many showers, sort of night mode light at rooms so other travellers won't be waken up when someone enters the room during night. I stayed at Amistat to attend Primavera festival and the location for that was just - The staffs were very helpful, Xavier was very very very helpful. I will definitely be returning here with friends. The beach is just next to the hotel, like literally 5mins walk. The metro is also around the corner, about 5-8mins walk depending on how fast you walk, you will also make new friends and you all will have the time of your lives. Didn't get the chance to do all I came here for, cause of the beach. Got really distracted. But then again, who goes on holiday and gets to do all they cam

  There are lots of travelers in the same level but the common bathroom was still relatively clean. The front desk offered us detailed information about the city and staffs were friendly.   The vibe of the place was really good when I was there; people were very friendly and it was easy for someone travelling alone (like me) to make friends. The staff were very approachable, and while it's not near the centre of Barcelona by any stretch of the imagination, it's near a metro station, supermarkets, a bunch of restaurants and also Parc ... what people say » Güell, which was a really nice spot (one of my faves in Barcelona). - Very kind staff, cheap hostel with enough comfort and plenty of equipment, close to Parc Güell and Sagrada Familia.
