  Standing room only on balcony overlooking the street - very sweet - felt like a local. Close the shutters and sliding door at night time to cut out any street noise. Aircon available in room if needed. Floor had lift access. Room small and beds very comfortable. Bathroom area small and functional - electric toilet but not noisy. Purcha - It was only three minutes from the metro station and only 15 minutes from the old town for these persons who love walking and 10 minutes from Sagrada Famiglia. It was very clean, they clean the room every day and they change towels every time that you ask for it. Perfect wi-fi in the room and the staff is the most polite and helpful we 've ever met. They gave us a map of the town with the most popular monuments and they adviced us for everything that we asked. There is a lift. Very safe streets

The hotel is within a few minutes walk of the train and bus station and is ideally situated for early morning flights, or forays into other areas, including France. The beds were comfy ( we had a double and a pull down), room spacious enough and the shower was great. I travelled with my 72 years old mum and my 18 year old daughter, and this met our needs!

  - Very friendly well trained staff always willing to help - All the receptionists speaking multiple languages unlike the majority of people in Barcelona - The rooms were very clean. Everyday room cleaning - Hotel has the European sign for eco-friendly services. This was definitely a "plus" for me. - Very quite. All you can eat breakfast at the hotel at - Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay if you have a car. There's a shopping mall which was great for us and you could walk to it. Everything: camp nou, placa espanya, Tibidabo, etc. was never no more than 10-15minutes away. It was a holiday and every else the price was jacked up but the IBIS wasn't so it was great value for the money. Had 2 rooms and they put us right across from each other which was great.

  It is a perfect place for adaquate people who seek for feeling the inner atmosphere of the country. The place is not luxirious but it has everything a traveller may need: a new elevator, air conditioner, nice breakfasts, the roof tarrace, it is very clean. It is located in a picturesque old narrow street where all local grannies say Hello to you. ... what people say » But the best thing which happened to us was meeting and making friends with the owner of the hotel - Tony!!! He is a very interesting person, well-edu - It's a wonderful little hotel. Very cozy and clean. Just a few steps from the beach. It's also very close to train station, but you don't hear trains at all. Owner Tony and all his family are amazing people. Thanks to them we felt there like at home. We had a great barbecue on the roof. Breakfasts were perfect as well. Hope to be back next summer!

  The room was small (perfect for a young couple) but everything seemed new and very clean. We had a small balcony off our room which was lovely and let lots of sunlight in. I was impressed by the quality for how much we paid. Great location for tourist attractions and just for wandering.   Pensio 2000 was a real find. Help yourself tea/coffee/cakes and water, all gratis. Even had lovely white dressing gowns provided. An international crossroad location with great mix of people too! No parking or lift but worth the effort. Great value for money but shame it rained! - Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a metro station and in the middle of Las Ramblas and El Borne. In winter, el borne is a better place to be close rather than since la rambla. The staff has made really nice improvements and facilities in the hotel, that's nice. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.
