  We had a thoroughly pleasant stay at this hotel for 5 nights in February 09. We stayed with our 2 children in a 'B2' Apartment - we found the rooms (sitting room with sofa bed and kitchenette / separate bedroom / large bathroom) to be extremely comfortable and practical with nice decor. It was easy to get around the hotel with a buggy and it had great access and was very easy to find at the end of the esplanade with a great walk along the water front into the main town centre.

  I initially taught because it is not in the heart of barcelona it would be hard to go around barcelona's main attractions, but I was wrong. The metro system was excellent. It was not far at all. The hotel was very clean, looked new with helpful staff. Bar was closed due to repairs, but hey, when you have lots of bar and restuarant on - we like that it was very close to the sea.. the staff was very friendly.. the rooms were very clean with a good view of the sea and very spacious.. about a 10 minute walk to the metro.. the area was very safe.. We would stay at this Hotel again.

  Front of house staff and barman, Gerard, are excellent. Good location and excellent price. I have stayed there before and will do again. What more can one say!!! - Had a fantastic time, the staff were so friebdly and helpful and our room had a gorgeous spa bath that was lovely to relax in after a lng day sightseeing!
