  Heartwarming women who run the hotel. A beautiful place with very nice looking rooms. The beds are heavenly compared to other hotels. A great place to relax, read a book and enjoy the scenery. Nice breakfast in a dining area looking out over the mountains. There is a fridge and microwave that can be used by the guests. Not far from Avilès, Oviedo,... what people say » Cudillero, Luarca and some beautiful beaches. Driving up to the hotel, you come through a fragrant forest, that makes you want to go for a walk. - Delightful! Our reception was warm and friendly, the location in rural countryside only 30 minutes from Oviedo airport is excellent. The house is tastefully furnished and very clean. Fresh strawberries from the garden with our tea from the 'self serve' dining area was a very nice touch. We would thoroughly recommend Casa de la Abuela to anyone visiting Asturias.

  Amazing facilities and comfort in the most spectacular scenery. Maria Eugenia was very helpful and made cheese too! We have been travelling in Spain for several weeks and this has been the best place, in terms of quality and price. The house was obviously for more than a couple, but two rooms were locked. However, we had a full kitchen, enormo... what people say » us living room, downstairs bathroom with a washing machine and upstairs bedroom with en suite and views of the mountains. - The quiet, mountain village where it was located was fantastic and the views from the apartment wonderful. It was very close to some very lovely and exciting mountain walks
