  The location is secluded and peaceful (no noises from cars, industry, etc...). Dinner was excellent, the food was simple but very well-prepared, and it seemed that they used local ingredients where possible. The personnel were all quite friendly and helpful, although when we wanted to visit the rooftop terrace the man at the front desk said we nee... what people say » ded to be accompanied and he wasn't available to go with us. The bathtub (at least in room 3) had a gorgeous faucet, a very cool piece. 24-hour access - NIce place, there was only the problem, how to get to the hotel, we have searched it for a while :-)

  A great find in a cool area of the city. We were upgraded from a studio apartment to a 1 bedroom. Everything about our stay was perfect. The on-site hostess spoke English well and was very friendly. Definitely would recommend this place to others. - location, lovely helpful staff who gave us an upgrade.   Mary is a fantastic hostess - so friendly, welcoming and relaxed that you felt like one of the family. The room was very clean and comfortable and the ambience was one of friendly relaxation. The swimming pool, with poolside bar, was a real bonus and the views were to die for. Evening meals of tasty, simple home-cooked fare, using home-grown produce, are available at very reasonable co - A fabulous hotel in a lovely location yet only a couple of miles from the bars, restaurants etc. My room was very clean, tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Mary is a fantastic host who really went out of her way to make my holiday first class. If anyone is visiting the Alpujarras and is looking for a wonderful place to stay it has to be Casa La Ladera.
