  from the time we got there they made us feel like home, everybody was extremely nice and polite with us. I was traveling with my mom and we felt like we were with family form the lobby until the kitchen everyone is so helpful, the locations is great you go to the terrace and you have the Royal Palace right on from of you. we were like 5 minutes wa... what people say » lking to the public transportation. I will recommend it to all of my friends. jus make sure if you want to be used the terrace at night make reservati - The Hotel was bright and vibrant and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The room itself was a good size and was comfortable with plenty of storage space. The Shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Breakfast was not quite a full English but good by European standards. Location was super for direct transfers from the airport on the C1 train (2.50€) then less than 5 minutes walk. Location also excellent for Old City and you can catch a train direct to Atocha station (1.60€),

  Absolutely loved everything about this place. On arrival the staff were incredibly helpful. The apartment was immaculately clean, very spacious for 5 of us, and of a high standard. We're approximately 10 metres from The main square and from the main night club where we spent our time! Absolutely fab! - Helpful lovely staff, a fantastic location a... what people say » nd a nice building, well-equipped, clean and cosy. We were in the duplex apartment; great value for money and a perfect bolt-hole for my sister and I right in the middle of Madrid. Didn't even mind the five flights of stairs!

Easy to find and right near the Metro station, which was easy to get to from the airport despite having much luggage and needing to take three different Metro lines.   First of all, the location of the hostel is great, being located in the heart of Madrid, a few minutes away from Gran Via and all the cultural places. Also it is really easy to arrive from the airport. Second of all, the ratio quality-price was great taking into the consideration that my room was quite modern and I enjoyed the shower with hidromas... what people say » sage. The room was very clean and quiet. Next, the staff was young, professional, very friendly and with good communication skills (they spoke English - The location of Hostal Gala is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Gran Via and Puerto Del Sol. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and advise on where to go and what to do. The hostal is also kept very clean and the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Although the rooms do not have safe deposit boxes, security and leaving passports/money behind was never a cause for concern. This is a place I would recommend and stay at again!
