This hostel is one of the reasons I enjoyed Toledo so much. Juan Carlos, the owner, is one of the best hosts I've ever met. When we called him to tell him that we would arrive late, he waited for us until 1am, and was patient and helpful during our whole stay. The room was nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. This hotel was definitely the best accommodation during our three week visit to Spain. We do not have any negatives. The room itself has been recently updated. The location was right in the heart of the city. We were able to walk to all the sites we wanted to visit.

This is a very nice hostal, with a good location on a side street,
inside the city walls. A basic breakfast is provided. But what made our
visit really special was Eami (sp?) at the front desk. She went way
beyond our expectations helping us get to the hostal with our rental car
so we could unload our luggage. I think she's the most helpful,

We felt great during our stay at Hostal La Campana; the staff was
extremely friendly, especially Antonio, the man at the reception, who I
assume is one of the owners as well. He was extremely helpful and nice.
The breakfast was very good as well, we paid only an extra 2 eur to get
a plate of queso and jamon. The room was big, the towels were changed
every day and the bathroom was very clean.
