Good secure parking, excellent access to accomodation, clean comfortable, well equiped rooms. Very friendly multi lingual staff. Good location with short walk to the Old Town. Bilbao has an excellent tram system and Metro, so traveling around is easy. Staff very friendly and helpful.

  The staff and the showers - I was at Hotel Bilbi for a day in December 08.It was a nice place to stay, warm and quiet. A few steps away from the river, the old town centre. My room was excellent, very good price value ratio. Friendly and very helpful staff, they gave best info at any time.I'll return to Bilbi Jan 09 and ever so.

  It was next to the old town which was within 10mins walk of the hotel (although up a hill on the way home). We felt the old town had a lovely buzz in the evening, very Spanish and not many tourists. The hotel was very clean, and paying 50 euros a night made the hotel extremely good value for money. The hotel is about 15-20 mins from the airport, ... what people say » which costs about 25 euros. - This was a stop for convenience for us before getting the ferry early next day. It was easy to find and park and easy to get to the port in 30 minutes. The parking was secure and the room large and comfortable though a bit impersonal. Due to time restrictions we ate at the hotel which was fine.....not outstanding but quite good and suited us for the last night in Spain.

  First we were surprised that it was not a separate building, it is only one floor in a big building and the owners are living there. The room was small, but there was a bathroom inside, and was nicely furnished and clean! There were also shampoos and gel which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately we didn’t receive a room with balcony to the square, ... what people say » but we have to admit that we booked on the same day of arrival and it turned out to be more silence the room that we received. Beautiful bars and rest - We were on the Camino del Norte and Bilbao was our last stop on this segment . this pension is ideally located beside the Cathedral on the Old City and on the route forward. We intend to stay here again when we resume the Camino next year. The shopping districts and indeed the Guggenheim were only a short walk away (say 15 minutes to 25 minutes) while there was plenty of restaurants etc in the Old City. A very helpful and obliging host in this Pension.
