  Excellent position in the heart of the Sierra Cazorla. We found the owners to be most friendly and helpful, our Spanish is limited but we were able to converse easily. Would recommend this hotel for tranquility, walking and observing nature at it's best. - A perfect location for taking full advantage of the lake and the national park surroundin... what people say » g it.   Accommodation was very clean and well equipped. The pool was nice. Enjoyed the fact that we saw the real Spain with no other English people there. The phrase book was well used too! Sitting outside on the terrace watching the wildlife at night!

  We loved our stay at La Hortizuela. The location within the park but 700metres up a track from the road, was perfect. The setting is stunning so peaceful and tranquil. The hotel itself is simply furnished in a rustic style with a very pretty flower filled internal courtyard.   Family run hotel with very relaxed atmosphere. Located in an ideal place for wild life lovers. Evening meal excellent with a good choice of dishes. Good value for money. - The quite, and the friendly atmosphere and location it could not have been better.
