  This is a historic building which has been beautifully and sympathetically restored. Reception was very efficient and spoke very good English. The room was truly enormous and very well fitted out. The fully exposed roof timbers were endlessly fascinating. The 'semi-detached' pilgrims' church was a delight. We chose the fixed price dinner which was... what people say » simple, very tasty and great value. An à la carte menu was available. - What a delightful surprise. We finished the first very hard day of the camino trail and walked into luxury and comfort. The hotel organised for bag transfers for our walk. Our room was wonderful. Spacious, light and comfortable. Meals were very good and value for money
