  First and foremost, the staff is incredible. Theodora made every opportunity to make arrangements for dinner reservations, island hopping, ferry, taxis etc. It was a very friendly environment and they made our stay tremendously pleasant. The location was nice as well, just a few hundred feet from the base of Mt. Lycabettus where a really nice chur... what people say » ch sits which provides amazing picture opportunities. Costs between 5-7 euro to get to and from town. Most taxis do not know where the hotel is locate - A full apt with a living room, walk-in kitchen and separate bedroom containing a pair of singles, so 3-4 fit comfortably inside and on the long balcony. Safest location, 4 mins from two Metro stops where you can pick up breakfast at the bakery and cook it in the oven. Two elevators so they always work and lovely super-friendly staff. If you are getting a price below 100euros, I cannot imagine any place that can beat this.

  The hotels is quiet, clean and with a fantastic breakfast. One of us was sick and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. We extended our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. As for the comments about the neighbourhood, except for one street between the museum and the polytechical school it was just fine. My advice is to just avoid th... what people say » at street (Tositsa) an use one on either side. - We spent here two fantastic weeks without watching tv, so we don't know how it works. But the room was big and clean. On the opposite side of the street is Polytechnic School so we had no "neighbours" looking through our window. Instead o lot of free parking space (in greek meaning ofc). Many police officers 24/7 in the area. Safe and quiet place.

  This hotel is chic and very comfortable. The staff is accommodating andwarm. The gym is well equipped; we were disappointed we didn't have timefor the steam room and sauna! Check out the rooftop: there is a greatpool with a disappearing edge, extremely comfortable loungers, a fullbar, great service and plenty of tables.   We absolutely loved the hotel and we'll definitely be back. The room was big, clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was decent, and generally it all looked very nice. We had a nice balcony with a magnificent sea view. - a wonderful location with the most beautiful sea bay view.

  We chose to stay at Phidias Piraeus because we needed a hotel close to the port seeing we were taking a ferry at 7:25 am. Well they were wonderful! First, we got there early from our other location and we needed to get our rental car back to downtown Athens. They had no problem in letting us leave our luggage there while we took our car back.   I would recommend the stay in this hotel. We stayed there two times: at the beginning of the vacations when we started from Athens and at the end whenwe flew back home via Athens. There are a lot of advantages: 1). the location is very good, 5 min. walk from metro station, 2 stations from Acropolis, a very good supermarket 2 minutes walk 2). It's near a huge street where you can pick up a cheap taxi to the center or even take the metro!!!! The staff is amazing, so friendly and very helpful for anything a traveler might need!The breakfast is huge and offers a variety of food even for the picky ones!!!Would definitely stay again when visiting Athen
