Superb breakfasts with lots of choice and extras like the small pancakes deep fried and served with honey and sesame seeds - delicious. Meals in the restaurant were fantastic, again with lots of extras and a new dessert to sample every day. The staff were very well trained, courteous and took the time to talk.   Good place in the heart of old city, close to almost everything. Nice rooms, clean & quiet place. Perfect choice for those, who want to stay at Rethymno for a night or two - This was beautiful and the best place we have stayed yet. Location was fantastic and the staff great. The room was devine, large, well appointed and just beautiful.

The local restaurants were touristy and uninspiring, but we found some excellent restaurants in the old town, which is about 20 minutes' walk from the hotel.
