For the cost of the stay, the Parthenon is worth the money. Clean, working air condition, hot water, hair dryer, TV. The morning buffet if somewhat limited is filling nonetheless. If there are three of you, ask for room 501--one of the largest, corner rooms. Yes the shower is small but again quite clean. The staff is very helpful. - Carol

Can't really fault this place especially for the price, we had nowhere to stay and booked it 2 days before we arrived for a REALLY reasonable price and definately were not dissapointed. Staff were helpful, great restaurant attached to it called Victorias which was lovely. So close to everything as well. Really would recommend this place. - Clair

The hotel I was suppose to stay at in Rhodes was below my standards and I found this hotel while walking down the street. The reception desk was helpful and allowed me to look at the room prior to checking-in. The hotel facilities and room were a great value - especially when compared to nearby hotels. The room was a good size and the bathroom had a shower with good water pressure. We stayed at the Lydia for the first time for one night at the beginning of September this year, during our return trip to the UK from Symi (the hotel we usually stop off at in Rhodes town had raised its prices to an unreasonable level) We were very pleased with our room, a triple which inexplicably cost less than a double that particular night. We stayed at the wonderful Hotel Attiki in Sept '09 and had a fantastic two night stay. The owners Mara & Francesco were very accomodating and went out of their way to make sure our stay was a happy one. The hotel is in a perfect location for anyone wanting to explore the old town, and to be part of the medieval walls is a real treat. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with a quirky individual feel. Breakfast and evening drinks on the roof terrace are a real pleasure, and the beautiful sur - James

Loved, loved, loved this hotel. The hotel only has 8 rooms, each one different, and it is right next door to the castle. The location is perfect for walking to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. Make sure you tour the castle next door and walk the wall that surrounds the town. Well worth it. The staff at Nikos, George and Giota were over the top. We felt like they were part of our family sitting with us and talking about Greek culture, various places to go and things to do and see.
