For this hotel, it is definitely located in a great area, Syntagma which just a few minutes walk from the metro. The staffs is excellent, services is comprehensive. Even the decoration of the room and the shampoo also is a high level standard. Especially, there is a staff which will be birthday two days before me - 13/6. good location, good price, good staff. there's a market very close by (fresh food!), a fridge in the room (on the 6th floor you get a balcony too), and the acropolis is within easy walking distance. the owners are very friendly and helpful too. very clean, but simple (it's a 2 star hotel - don't expect great luxuries). decent breakfast. close

The staff were very helpful and friendly, even giving us a box breakfast when our plane was leaving before breakfast. However, we did not like going out after dark except to the restaurant just across the street. Great location for sightseeing, 1/2 mile to the metro and Plaka. We would stay there again while in Athens.

A lifetime experience in a blue and yellow (and not red like in some five-star hotels) surroundings. You have the parts of some ancient pillarsand the Zeus Temple you can see from your window. The rooms were so quiet, perfect for a good nights rest and the sumptuous breakfast was a great start to the day. Very comfortable, pleasant, and memorable stay would highly recommend this hidden gem in the city of Athens. - We had a room with a balcony to the street but there was a double-door so the noise really stayed outside. As it was quite hot we enjoyed the air-coditioner. Bathroom, bed, sofa, everything was perfect. The breakfast next morning was a next highlight. To the Plaka it´s only a 5 minute walk, up to the acropolis about 15-20 min. We can only recommend this hotel to everyone!
