Would recommend this hotel. Eva, the hostess is a wonderfully friendly and helpful person. We didn't arrive until midnight, she left us a welcome note and instructions about the key. She went so far as to make us a take-away breakfast when we had to leave to catch the midnight ferry. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is meticulously clean, and the beds are the softest I've experienced in Greece so far. The pool area is as good as any luxury hotel, and the outdoor gardens are lovely.

The lady that ran the hotel was lovely, and extremely helpful. The room was spacious and clean. A sort of family-run feel for such a big hotel. We came to Santorini for the wedding of our best friend and we stayed in Solaris. The hotel was very nice near to the center so we could easily reach our friend's hotel walking. What a warm family! This is a family run business where the presence of the grandparents and kids give you the feeling of actually being with a Greek family.

The room was huge for European standards, with full dining table and kitchen. There is a private courtyard in which the owner lights votive candles at night so you can enjoy the evening. Note that it is not a view property and you do have to walk up hill 8-10 minutes to town. Excellent value. I recommend it.
